Andrew Giles
Church Secretary

Andrew has been at All Saints for 38 years and does the admin side of the church warden role, having stepped down from an eventful period as churchwarden in October 2020. He also hires out rooms and looks after the church diary and is responsible for the many church newsletters issued which has been extremely important for many congregation members during the covid restrictions. He is always keen to see the funny side of things and cheer people up.

I find the rich diversity and the talents of the different charitable groups coming to our church every week humbling. Their response to our warmth and hospitality is wonderful. We have many regulars who we regard as friends and partners and I love talking to all the different groups, finding out what they need and trying to give them the kind of welcome into our family that honours our Lord Jesus. I’m involved occasionally with sermons and bible studies and see my role principally as supporting and encouraging others and making them laugh in this amazing church. I’m retired now playing Badminton, Bridge and Golf – all badly!”
