Licenced Lay Minister
Mike and his wife Jacki have been coming to All Saints for 4 years. Since lockdown they have been leading, organising and preaching at our 9:30pm traditional services when we have opened during the last year. Although focussing more on our traditional service Mike and Jacki also give sermons across all our worship activity. Mike is well connected in the diocese and has sorted out a strong program of traditional worship during our time without a vicar with good sense and humour. His wisdom and experience from working in the diocese and his career in business at senior level has been of great value during the lockdown and our interregnum.
“I have been an LLM since 1995. Since retiring in 2016 I have worked as spokesman for the Christian Charity Tearfund and am now Chairman of the Trustees of a charity, partly funded by Tearfund, called Pregnancy Twinning. Currently my key activity and role is Chaplain and deputy Chairman for Coworth Flexlands school in Sunningdale. I spend most of my time in my garden where I grow fruit and veg as well as flowers and shrubs, and occasionally you will find me on the golf course!”
